We've Got the Answers
How do I get started? We invite you to participate in a Discovery Flight to ensure that flying aligns with your interests. Following this experience, you will schedule a 30min orientation to further access your needs and look deeper into our courses. After this you will need a medical certificate from an Aviation Medical Examiner (we will help you get it setup). Once these steps are completed, we can begin your journey.
What headset should I get? The headset you choose is up to you but it must have dual GA plugs. We recommend that you get a David Clark headset.
How long will it take to finish Private Pilot? The timeline is contingent upon your schedule. We expect the process to take approximately four to six months.
What materials will I need to get started? To get started you will need a headset, logbook, iPad, and the ForeFlight app. Everything else you’ll need we offer in a kit for $280.
Can I do an independent ground study course? Independent study is encouraged, but it will not substitute for the in‑depth instruction provided during the course. We need to ensure that all material is logged, confirmed, and you will be fully prepared for the check ride. Your success is our priority, and we want to make sure you have all the necessary skills and knowledge.
